Hi, I'm Ana!

I am a busy mum of two boys and a full-time Marketing Manager. From 9 to 5 you can find me working in Asset Management in London, creating presentation decks for Investment Managers and Sales Directors. At work, most people know me for my PowerPoint and creative skills. But I am also a Yoga Teacher and an Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant, who is extremely passionate to talk about all things Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness and wellbeing.

 

I have been practicing Yoga for over 15 years, and I have found Yoga to be the perfect antidote to running a busy family and professional life. On the weekends you can find me teaching Yoga to my community of local yogis, who I dearly call "The Tribe". My classes are dynamic, yet calming, grounding and full of positive energy with the aim to bring balance to the body and stillness to the mind. There is a deep focus on the breath and body mindfulness. I genuinely love to create mindful flows, coupled with curated playlists that inspire you to connect deeper with your True Self. My classes also incorporate elements of pranayama (breath work), dyhana (meditation) and philosophy with the aim to create an holistic approach to the practice of Yoga.

 

I formally trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa, at the Shala School of Yoga in West Norwood, South London, under the guidance of the amazing and legendary Gingi Lee and Kath Roberts. Most recently, I took Mandala Flow trainings with Dulce Aguilar the co-founder of The Yoga People, and Julie Montagu from Whole Self Yoga. 

I grew up in beautiful and sunny Lisbon, Portugal, but London is now my adopted home, where I live with my partner and our two sons. Although Yoga is my passion, I also enjoy baking, as I believe a well-lived and balanced life has to have a bit of Yin and Yang. So my mantra in life is:

 "Do Your Yoga And Eat Your Cake Too!"

My teaching style is an extension of my personal practice — passionate, conscious, sincere, and light-hearted.
